About First Peeks Boutique

Josie Muriel is the CEO of First Peeks Boutique, an ultrasound and learning center, in Peachtree Corners, GA. Opened in February of 2023, and Muriel says the services First Peeks Boutique provides will give local families a much-needed resource in birth preparation and education. “After working in the medical field for over a decade, I noticed a gap between prenatal care and parents feeling prepared and confident going into the birth,” says Muriel. First Peeks Boutique bridges that gap by offering classes on childbirth education that cover pregnancy, labor, hospital procedures, newborn practices, and postpartum. First Peeks Boutique will also give expecting parents the opportunity to schedule 3D/4D ultrasounds, a SneakPeek® Clinical Early Gender DNA Test, learn CPR, buy “Heartbeat “Bears” (stuffed animals with recording of baby’s heartbeat), and rent breast pumps.

 

First Peeks Boutique will also serve as a community resource for families by hosting networking events allowing parents the opportunity to meet community birth workers such as doulas, pelvic floor therapists, breastfeeding consultants, newborn night nurses, perinatal chiropractors, kinesio taping practitioners, prenatal massage therapists, and certified car seat technicians.

 

Muriel, still currently working as a labor & delivery nurse in addition to running First Peeks Boutique, has been a Peachtree Corners resident since 2016. She has three children, whom she credits as her motivation. “Being a role model to them is my mission. I want to show them the benefits of hard work, and even as a working mom I can set goals and crush them,” says Muriel. Along with the added bonus of a shorter commute and some new-found work-life balance, Muriel says opening First Peeks Boutique in Peachtree Corners is a great location for families since it is centrally located near Target, Publix, and many other shops and restaurants.
